Leadership Summit is an energetic and motivating day-long leadership workshop held in the atmospheric boathouse district in downtown Oklahoma City. Two students are chosen to represent each electric cooperative in Oklahoma. OEC awards a $250 scholarship to each of our students. Students will also have the opportunity to win an additional $1,000 scholarship from Western Farmers Electric Cooperative. At the conclusion of the training, students and their parents, will be treated to dinner and after-summit activities around Bricktown.

Where: Chesapeake Finish Line Tower, OKC Boathouse District
- 250-500 word ESSAY on what you think makes a great leader. Include discussion of your leadership skills and how you hope to improve those skills.
- A RESUME listing your extracurricular activities, jobs, awards received, and positions held.
- Letter of recommendation from a school teacher, administrator, or community leader. (mailed separately or in sealed envelope)
- Applicants must live in or attend a school within OEC's service territory, but they do not need to be OEC members.
DEADLINE for 2019 will be available in the fall.
Only complete applications meeting all listed criteria will be considered. Applications postmarked or received in the office after the deadline will not be accepted.
