Warning: Scammers target utility customers

At least two OEC members are victims in a scam targeting prepaid card users. A request by a stranger to use a GreenDot MoneyPak, a type of electronic money transfer service sold as a card at chain drug stores and large department stores, or other prepaid card should be considered a scam.

Usage monitoring is available for residential members who want to take a more active role in managing their daily electric use. Track your consumption on the internet and see how much electricity you used on the previous day.
